Goodness is an extension to help people do better things on the internet. It was created to help people who are trying to get rid of a pornography addiction, but it's suitable for anyone who wants to stay safer online.
The extension doesn't aim to change the computer, but instead, the person using it.
That may not be apparent right now — since the only feature is a user-created filter — but in the future, Goodness's primary functions will be to bring uplifting content to the user, and keep him or her in the best attitude to choose the right.
I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and that does affect my work. Nevertheless, this extension is designed to be a help to anyone who wants it, regardless of religion.
This extension is still in its infancy, but I fully intend to make it a great and helpful product. It will always be free.
